Rice County 4-H Colorado Peach Fundraiser

Rice County 4-H Junior Leaders are selling freshly picked Colorado Peaches from the Cox Farm in Palisade, Co. The Cox family stated that they have a full crop this year since the winter was mild. The Cox family grows free stone Glo Haven peaches, which are very delicious. If the peaches are slightly firm when you get them, you may leave some of them out on the counter to ripen. The best way to store them, for longer keep, is in the fridge separated in a single layer. Freezing is another option, but these peaches are so delicious that it is hard to keep your hands off of them long enough to store. These peaches have been sold in the Central Kansas area for at least a decade which ensures the quality and consistency of the peaches.  The peaches come in an 18-20 lb box. We are charging $35 per box.

To order please contact the Rice County Extension office at 620-257-5131 or stop by and place your order at 701 East Main, Lyons.

Checks are to be made payable to Rice County 4-H Council.
